Hot Summer Days

Wow, it sure has been a long time since mom updated our site! What a fun, busy summer it has been. I sure have been keeping mom and dad busy! So far, in my 7 and 1/2 months I have learned so many new and exciting things. I have 3 teeth, (2 on the bottom, 1 on the top), am very good at rolling onto my tummy, getting better at rolling onto my back, I can sit up all by myself, and get onto my tummy from sitting! I am SO CLOSE to crawling. Mom says I just need to figure out my hands...what does that mean I wonder??? I get very frustrated when I can't reach my toys, but my dad always comes to the rescue and makes me laugh. He's the best buddy I could ever ask for! At the beginning of the month, mom took me to get my 6 month pictures taken, she was a couple weeks late, but that's okay, they turned out pretty cute if I do say so myself. I'm posting some to share.

Last weekend, we went up north to Grandma Huesmann's. Boy, was that fun! She took me swimming, and my cousins Brady and Anna came over with their puppy Misty, she was neat. They even let me touch her! It was very busy and tiring, and by Monday, I was very ready to come home and relax!

I have to go now, it's time for bed, but I'll try to do better about updating more often!

Quality Time

Hi! It's me, Noah. Mom let me on the computer to write a couple of things on our website that I have been bugging her to share! First of all, back in April, my new cousin Kieran was born! Yeah! I have only hung out with him a few times, but so far he seems pretty cool, and I am excited to play with him more often as he gets bigger! We had a good afternoon of quality time, that Auntie Kim got a picture of that I'm gonna share with all of you!

I started daycare this month and so far I LOVE it! I have made so many new friends, and I don't even notice or care when mommy drops me off in the morning, I know she'll be back to get me after I'm done playing. I did get a little cold from one of my new friends, but mommy and daddy took good care of me, and daddy even took the cold from me, wasn't that so nice?!

Our well water was having trouble these past two weeks, so I've been spending alot of time at Grandma Johnson's, washing my bottles, and taking baths, thank you so much for letting us come over. It's always so fun there! Grandpa Johnson is in China for two weeks, I already miss him and can't wait for him to come home and play with me!

Otherwise, I'm just busy growing and having fun being able to go outside more often. I hope everyone has a good weekend, talk to you later!

Noah's First Tooth

Big news! Noah is officially growing up. He got his first teeth already. Both of his bottom 2 middle teeth came poking through last week. He seems to be handling it pretty well. Just wants to gnaw on everything he can get his little hands on! He also has begun eating cereal once a day, which has proven to be quite the adventure. I end up holding his hands down with one hand, and spoon feeding him with the other, if I don't hold his hands down, he just chews on his fist and gets goo everywhere!

We actually have a big week coming up. This weekend is Noah's baptism, so all of his aunts/uncles, cousins, grandparents and great grandparents will be over to celebrate! This means, mom and dad need to get the house in order. Which, for anyone who's ever had a baby knows this is a trick! So, Grandma Huesmann came down to stay for a few days so we can clean!

Then, next tuesday, Noah has his first day of daycare! I have to admit, I have mixed emotions. I definitely think it's good for him to get socialized, etc. But I am nervous about strangers caring for my little bug. (I just need to get over this!) It will be just great, I know he'll love it!

That's it for now, take care, and enjoy the sun!

4 Month Check up

Hey everyone,
hope all is well. We have been keeping busy and trying to keep sane with all this continued snow fall! Come on Spring! Noah had his 4 month check up last week, and everything looks great! The doctor said that he was "perfect", that's a quote, but we already knew that! :)
He weighed in at a whopping 17 lbs, 8 oz. and 26" long. This puts him in the 95% for weight and 90% for height! Good boy.
Otherwise, our plans right now consist of getting ready for Noah's baptism on May 4th, and then that same week he starts day care! Yeah! He'll be going 2 days a week, which Jason is really looking forward to, a much needed break I think.
Hope everyone is hanging in there, sunshine has got to be just around the corner!

Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone! We hope everyone enjoyed our "spring" because from looking outside, it looks like winter is upon us again! Last weekend we had Noah's 3 month photo shoot. It was so fun to watch him. Mom, Dad, Grandma Johnson and the photographer all huddled around trying to get him to smile. I think it just confused him, so not too many smiles, but at least he didn't have a melt down, so we'll take it as a success. I'm posting a couple of our favorite pics from the day for everyone to enjoy. Other than that, not much new here, Grandma Huesmann is in her second week of staying with Noah, and I think he definitely is wearing her out, but he loves having his grandma here! So many hugs and kisses! Again, Happy Easter, we hope this finds you all happy and healthy!

Blowing Spit Bubbles

Ahhh...the joys of being a baby! They sure do have it rough, don't they? People to cater to their every whim. That's the life! All is good on this front. Noah is constantly growing and changing. He is big into blowing spit bubbles lately, which produces laughing from me and Jason, which in turn makes Noah giggle, which makes us laugh even harder. Needless to say, life is pretty good right now. The other night, Jason had Noah laying on his side, and Noah was just chattering away, telling Dad a whole long story. I luckily got a picture, but missed it on video, but I'll post the photo at least. Like I mentioned, he is growing like a weed, he has grauated into size 2 diapers! Yeah! Not that that means much to most, but his mama thinks it's exciting.

Jason, being the devoted stay at home papa, needed a couple of days with the boys, so he left this afternoon to go on a snowmobile trip up north, which is great, it gives mom and Noah some good quality bonding time! It's crazy how much planning goes into 1 day of babysitting out of the house. My friend Tammy from work was nice enough to watch Noah tomorrow, and Jason's sister Niki is coming over on Friday. I can't thank them enough....being a single mom is tough! :)

Other than that, we are just enjoying this time in our lives, people always talk about the joys of parenthood, but it's hard to explain until you get to live it! We have been so blessed with such a happy, healthy, sweet little boy, and we thank God for that every day!

On a different note, if everyone could take a moment and send a prayer out to my friend Heather Ostlie and her family. Her daughter Abby has been in heart failure for over a year now, and they are still waiting for the perfect heart to arrive. Times are tough, and sad and frustrating, and I know alittle extra love their way would be greatly appreciated!

Love to all!

Noah's 2 month check up

Noah had his 8 week wellness visit yesterday. What an exciting day! Well, for mom and dad anyways! We have been anxiously awaiting a check up to see how much he has grown since his 2 week visit. He is now 24 1/2 inches long and a whopping 12 lbs, 9 oz. What a chunk! We are thrilled with his progress! He has been wearing his 3 month clothes now for about 5 weeks, so I think it's safe to say, he's not going hungry. I will say he is not a very patient little man when he is hungry, once he decides to eat, you better have food ready to go! What can I say, he takes after his mama!

He also got his 2 month shots yesterday, which was alittle sad, but he did a really good job! He was kinda sad and cranky last night, but has been pretty much sleeping all day today, so hopefully that's a good sign.

I think that's all for now! We'll keep you posted!

Our First Webpage!

Well, it's official! We are entering the age of technology. The Huesmann's (mostly Stef) have decided to create a page to keep people up to date with our ever changing and growing family! To post pictures of Noah, so everyone can stay up to date and in touch with our lives!

Hopefully you will enjoy it as much as we hope to have creating it!
